i wonder if you meant this to be commented upon...
i'm not so keen on "commute," but it could work.
you might be able to leave out "spider," as web by itself, might be enough.

in a way, a commute, or driving, is always like a freshly spun web...you can never tell exactly what is going to be like, and you might get caught up in it.
more thoughts coming...
I love the pic! With the Haiku - it would help me to know what your thoughts were, ie was it the contrast you were struck by between the commute and the web, or some synergy.. ?
