funny, but i remember writing a haiku with geese a number of years ago...but i don't remember how it went.
here, i was digging holes for two rather large hydrangea bushes. i was tired and wanting to stop, but i kept going. i hit a rock, and as i did, i heard a flock of geese fly overhead...the alternate honking of the various members of the group. i didn't see them though. i wondered what their "v" looked like...sometimes they are pretty well formed, and sometimes they aren't all together.
the feeling was that here i'm doing a drudgery with digging these holes, then i get stopped by a rock, which is a pain, but the sound of geese always makes me happy. there must be something other than the sound then...

Hi John,
What is the feeling you got when you were writing this -ie the connection between the 1st 2 lines and the last?
Sangeet
it does seem a bit random, the juxtaposition.
